It’s the day to celebrate the greatest teams in garden retailing for 2008. On Tuesday 15 July 2008, the elite of the garden industry and the cream of the country’s garden retailers will be gathering at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham to find out just which retailing teams have been nominated by the industry and the gardening public as The Greatest for the 2008 season.
After the success of last year’s inaugural Greatest Awards, the competition is expected to be even hotter this year – so, if you believe your teams are The Greatest, you need to start planning your campaign to obtain nominations and votes as time is running out.
So keep reading below for all the information you need for getting your centre into The Greatest Awards 2008

Voting for The Greatest Awards 2008, starts on May 1st and runs through until the end of June.
The only people who will decide who are The Greatest Garden Centre Teams; The Greatest Plant Sales Teams and The Greatest Catering Teams, are garden centre customers.
They can vote on-line at www.thegreatestawards.co.uk, by text to 87023 or by the postcards available in your store.

Entering your own centre into the following 2 categories needs to be done by
9 May 2008, so get your entries in quickly to ensure that your Garden Centre is a winner.
Once you are nominated in any of these categories, your entry will go through for judging later in May and June.
